After Academy pupils were punished for rule breaking over uniform and make up, parents called for teachers to wear uniforms as well as their pupils.

Pupils and teachers dressing the same is not a radical or new idea. Eton College, founded in 1440 and charging fees of over £45,000 per year, has had a tradition of staff and pupils dressing alike. The "School Dress" of white bow tie, black jacket and striped trousers is worn by everyone.
